Dayton's Bluff Extended Learning Program
Art Class

Dayton’s Bluff Extended Learning offers both academic and enrichment opportunities for students in grades K - 6. Academic classes are designed primarily to serve children who are not at grade level in reading and/or math, but all students are eligible to enroll. Participants receive one hour of academic assistance along with one hour of enrichment every day.

Sign up for the Fall Session will begin in September 2009.  *Students may join the after school program at any point during the school year, but registration forms must be returned one week before a child can begin participating.

Fall enrichment classes include: Arts and Crafts, Jump into Fitness, Y-Start (a YMCA leadership program) and Dayton's Bluff Cinema.

Each year, Dayton’s Bluff collaborates with Aerospace at Cleveland to offer opportunities for Dayton's Bluff fifth and sixth grade students to visit and take part in activities at Cleveland. The program is designed to help our older students make the transition to a junior high school environment.  Activities will include family nights, intra-school activities, and summer opportunities.

Funding provided by U.S. Department of Education and administered by the Minnesota Department of Education through the 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) grant.  For more information on 21st CCLC, please visit http://www.21stcclc.spps.org/
