Hello! This will be my fourth year teaching at Dayton's Bluff Elementary, but I have been teaching in St. Paul for over fifteen years. I especially love working on the East Side! I received my Bachelor's degree from Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa. After serving in the Peace Corps in The Gambia, West Africa for 2 years, I returned and began teaching in St. Paul. I received my Master's in Education from Hamline University from the Center for Excellence in Urban Teaching program.

I am the mother of two children, a fourth grade son and a daughter in second grade. I am proud to say my kids also attend St. Paul Public Schools. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, baking, reading, watching movies, and playing with my silly pug Lulu!

I look forward to an excellent year. Together, we will do great things!
