Welcome to Ms. Howard's Class!

Hello Dayton's Bluff families!  My name is Nenah Howard and I am very excited to be teaching your children this year!  I have been teaching in SPPS since 2017, and I have been teaching at DB since 2022.  Before I began teaching I worked as a teaching assistant for three years at Bruce Vento Elementary.  I also spent a year as a literacy specialist before coming to Dayton's Bluff Elementary.

I 2017 graduated from Metropolitan State University with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. In 2021, I graduated from Concordia University with my master's degree in literacy curriculum and instruction.  I also received a reading endorsement with my master's degree, which means I am licensed to teach reading from kindergarten-12th grade.  I love reading and with my college focus I have learned a lot about the best ways to teach your children to read!

I have a daughter in middle school who I love to spend time with.  I also enjoy spending time at the lake when it's nice, shopping trips to Target, reading, and baking.
