Ms. Hunter is an ELL (English Language Learner) teacher new to Dayton's Bluff this year. She has been teaching since 2011 but started working with elementary students 4 years ago. She holds a BA in English Literature from the University of Northern Iowa, an MA in Slavic Language and Literature from Indiana University, and an M.Ed in Teaching English as a Second Language from the University of Minnesota.
When Ms. Hunter is not working with students at Dayton's Bluff, she enjoys spending time rock climbing, reading books, and playing guitar. She also enjoys spending time outside when the weather is nice.
Ms. Hunter lives in St. Paul with her family. She has lived there for the past 4 years and loves the community.
Ms. Hunter is very excited to be at Dayton's Bluff. She loves to help students grow as learners and emphasizes the importance of students recognizing the assests they bring to the classroom each and every day.
