She has been in the St Paul Public School District since 2001. She has taught 4th, 5th and 6th grade in the special education department. She has been co-teaching since 2013 with Mr. Cooper which she loves to do!
In Ms. Rice's spare time she loves to hang out with her family. She takes many road trips to Green Bay and up north. Another passion is coaching. She has coached her daughter's volleyball team for 3 years. Another things she loves to do when it is nice out, is go to the pool to cool off with her kids.
She lives in Cottage Grove with her husband and 2 daughters. Her husband is a huge Green Bay Packer fan and watching football on Sundays is a must. Her daughters are the most important thing in her life and spending time with them is what she looks forward to.
Teaching has always been a passion of hers and she knows that having a good experience in school is very important. Mr. Cooper and Ms. Rice make sure to build a strong community within the classroom so each child feels at home.
