Cyndee Slater has been teaching for 13 years. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from St. Cloud State University and is working towards a Master's in Literacy Education. Cyndee has taught ECFE and Preschool classes, Kindergarten, First, Second and Third grade. She is excited for the first of many years here at Dayton's Bluff!

When Cyndee isn't at Dayton's Bluff, she enjoys being creative and making projects. She enjoys attending concerts and comedy shows. Cyndee and her husband are Hockey fans and attend several Wild and Men's Minnesota Gopher games a year.

Cyndee and her husband Jason have lived in Stillwater for the past 10 years with their two cats, Felix and Guen. They welcomed their daughter, Kyla, in June of 2020.

Cyndee is beyond excited to be working with the students and staff at Dayton's Bluff. She believes all students can learn, it is the teacher's job to find out how. "It shouldn't matter how slowly a child learns as long as we encourage them not to stop." - Robert John Mechan
